Energy-efficient mixers

SolarBee mixers operate 24/7 to reduce effluent BOD, TSS, and ammonia in municipal and industrial wastewater. The solar-powered units have a low-voltage motor and on-board battery system to provide continuous, energy-efficient water quality improvement. Long-distance circulation technology creates a near-laminar flow pattern that completely mixes the water column and improves distribution of dissolved oxygen. Each mixer can displace the mixing energy of about 25,000 watts (30 horsepower) of conventional grid-connected mixing equipment and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 148 tons per year.
