The SP8/G Series II surface planer was created for job applications including milling misaligned sidewalks and joints, removing thermo and cold plastic markings, and prepping floors for new coating applications. The 5-horsepower planer is built with a unitized, welded steel plate frame and extra capacity ball bearings. It can be equipped with various industrial quality gasoline engines. The planer has a maximum cutting depth of ⅝ inches, a cutting width of 8 inches and a cutting proximity to a vertical wall of 3¼ inches. Planer bearings are externally greased to extend the unit's service life.
