Green Glue is a noiseproofing compound that can be used in the construction and renovation of both residential and commercial properties. The eco-friendly, viscoelastic compound can be applied between layers of standard drywall to improve sound isolation, while lessening the impact of noise and structure-born sound transmission. After one application of Green Glue, an additional layer of drywall will decrease sound transmission by up to 90 percent, according to the company. Green Glue is available by the case; one case will cover 100 to 200 square feet. Each case contains 12 29-ounce tubes of the product.
