Large bore shaft collars and couplings can be custom-engineered for applications up to 16 inches and 8 inches I.D., respectively. The units come in one- and two-piece configurations that are ideal for wind-power generator drive systems. Both the shaft collars and the couplings are machined from aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, brass and other alloys with dimensional tolerances of less than 0.001 inches and run-out and concentricity tolerances of less than 0.001 inches TIR. Modifications can include keyways, slots, cam surfaces and special threads.
