Metabo Corp.'s 18-volt, half-inch impact wrench has three electronic speed ranges, a lithium battery and air-cooled charging for long battery life. The SSW18 produces a maximum torque of 1,947 inch-pounds. The wrench can operate in three speed ranges — from zero to 1,600, 2,150, and 2,650 rpm. The wrench comes with two lithium-ion battery packs, weighs 4.1 pounds, and is less than seven inches long. A lightweight die-cast aluminum gear housing dissipates heat.
