Multi-functional U500 vehicle outfitted with front-mounted, combination mower travels to job site at highway speeds independent of trailer or transport. Mower features both large and small mower heads: boom head mows large swaths while smaller head simultaneously cuts hard-to-reach areas, such as under guard rails. Both mowers are powered by front-engine PTO. When not in use, mowers fold to front of vehicle for traveling. U500 comes in 26,000- and 33,000-lb. G.V.W.s with standard 132-in. wheelbase, all-wheel drive, and 4-wheel, dual-circuit, anti-lock disk brakes. Powered by Mercedes-Benz MBE900 electronic 6-cylinder diesel engine in 230-hp. and 280-hp. ratings.
