Model 324D, part of the D-series line of
mid-sized excavators, travels on tracks that measure about 15 ft.
long. Offers maximum digging depth of approximately 24 ft., along
with horizontal reach of 34 ft. 7 ins. Runs on 188-hp.,
fuel-efficient engine, which meets EPA Tier 3 emission regulations.
Spacious, sound-insulated cab features adjustable seat and
armrests. To enhance visibility of job site, all glass is affixed
directly to cab, without requiring window frames. Excavator comes
in various configurations for running specific hydraulic tools.
Accepts attachments such as hammers, grapples, work-specific
buckets, and ground-engaging tools. Also powers various booms and
sticks, such as a ditch-cleaning boom that reaches 60 ft. or more.

convey information about machine status and operating time.
