With self-propelled Model 815-2, screed assembly offers standard paving widths ranging between 8 and 15 ft. Paving depths range from 0 to 6 ins. Hydraulically controlled screed extensions let operator change paving widths “on the go,” within entire paving range. Reversible augers, mounted on screed extensions, provide consistent delivery of asphalt at all paving widths. In addition, screed is propane heated to ease material flow. Machine boasts 8-ton hopper and dual-slat conveyor to handle heavy workloads. Paves at speeds up to 180 ft. per min., plus travels up to 360 ft. per min. Runs on 85-hp., turbo-diesel engine. Low deck, along with dual operator’s stations, allow paver use from either side of platform, or both sides simultaneously.
