A newly designed carrying handle for many of Hougen Manufacturing's drill systems provides more hand comfort when transporting the units, improves balance when handling the drills and assists in positioning the drills for more accurate hole locations, according to the company. The carry handle features an arc configuration and formed finger indents for a relaxed grip and secure fit. The position of the handle mounting offers counterbalance that eliminates offset strains to hands, wrists and forearm muscle groups. Hougen manufactures 15 models of portable electric drills, with up to 3 1/16 -inch-diameter capacities and 3-inch depths of cut.
