The base container BC450 is a double-wall, rectangular, low-profile chemical storage tank. The primary tank holds 450 U.S. gallons and allows intermediate bulk containers to be emptied quickly. The BC450 can hold chemical tote bins for up to 31/2 hours and has a partially sloped bottom for nearly complete draining from top suction. The unit boasts molded-in forklift access, a 2½-inch-thick steel epoxy-coated grating, an 11-inch threaded recessed access cap and a complete fill assembly, including a ball valve and chemical-transfer hose. The unit offers a maximum load capacity of 4,500 pounds. The base container has an electronic control package with primary-tank high- and low-level alarms and interstitial leak detection for the secondary containment.
