Three models of portable asphalt recyclers turn used asphalt chunks into hot-mix asphalt. The recyclers produce up to 10 tons of material per hour in any weather, including sub-zero temperatures, and eliminate the need for cold-patching. Units produce hot mix within 15 minutes of initial startup in any season and recycle asphalt chunks up to 30-by-30 inches. Utility cuts, bridge work, potholes, parking lots, catch basins, and winter patches are potential applications.
