The Aar-O-Vent air and dirt separator protects hydronic piping systems from corrosion. The Aar-O-Vent uses a stainless steel coalescing filter to separate air and dirt from the water that can cause damage to pumps, seals and valves. The separator is available in sizes from 1.5 inches to more than 24 inches. The separator removes dirt particles and deposits them in a sediment collection area. Testing has shown that the unit removes 89 percent of dirt particles in the 17 to 65 micron size range in as few as 50 system cycles, according to the company.
