Berner's Intelliswitch 2 controls temperatures and fan speed on the manufacturer's Zephyr or Maxair air curtains. Available either factory-installed in the curtain or with a cable-connected remote wall mount display, the controller shows operating diagnostics and error-code messages. Users can monitor and control temperature, volume, velocity and timing with three default settings or custom-programmed criteria. The Intelliswitch 2 air curtain controller needs no integrated external peripherals; its thermostat, operating switch, timer and other components are built-in. Energy-saving features include a 10-speed fan control and area spot-heating capabilities. Air curtains are suited for postal facilities, foodservice operations and government buildings with dock doors, and can be a less expensive substitute for vestibules, according to the manufacturer.
