Three automated power-saving functions reduce the amount of fuel needed to operate VMAC's line of air compressor systems. Underhood70 and 150 belt-driven systems feature an optional two-speed throttle that matches engine speed to air demand. Predatair40 and 60 hydraulic systems include modes that reduce hydraulic drive load in the absence of air demand and subsequently turn off the compressor after a designated period of time without air demand. All four systems, made of aluminum components, are designed for use on work trucks in applications including construction and municipal operations.
