The grating permanently protects against falls on the Bilco line of floor, vault and sidewalk access doors. The product is corrosion-resistant fiberglass with stainless steel hardware, and includes an arm that locks the grating panel in the fully open position for user safety. The grating is rated for a live load of 300 pounds per square feet. The company offers its grating in standard and special sizes, and kits are available to retrofit the product onto Bilco doors in the field.
