Law enforcement officers have a more breathable and stain-resistant uniform with the Patrol Duty Uniform from 5.11 Tactical Series. The uniforms are made of durable 65/35 poly-cotton ripstop or twill. The fabric is treated with Teflon to resist stains and dirt. The Patrol Duty Uniforms can be washed and dried at home, eliminating the need for dry cleaning. Other features in the uniforms are a bi-swing shoulder area for freedom of movement and sturdy seams in the crotch for more flexibility and increased strength. The shirts on the Patrol Duty Uniforms feature a mic-cord pass-through above the duty belt area for microphone cords.
