New medical device adhesives, Series 1000, enable high-speed, high-volume bonding of medical device housings, tube sets, catheters and enclosures. The solvent-free adhesives replace ultrasonic welding applications and costly two-part products. They are USP Class VI- and ISO 10993-certified and moisture- and humidity-resistant. The adhesives leave no residue and are available in gap-filling viscosities. Designed for plastic joints utilizing overlaps, flanges or tabs, the adhesives cure to give a very strong bond. The adhesives are designed to cure with both UV- and visible-light-emitting lamps.
