The inflatable SalvageLift is designed to bring submerged shipping containers, chemical drums and vessels — regardless of size, weight or depth — to and above the water's surface. The inflatable lift eliminates the need to position cables or chains beneath the item to be salvaged. Two 10-foot SalvageLift units can raise a minimum of 3,000 pounds. The lift's technology is based on the use of compressed air to inflate saltwater-resistant, high-tensile-strength flotation bags. The diver-friendly lift weighs 40 pounds per 10-foot unit; a single diver can attach a SalvageLift by using its handles, which contain a trigger mechanism to adhere the suction cups or magnets simultaneously to the items to be salvaged. The lift is available in custom sizes, or off the shelf in 5- and 10-foot units.
