A multipurpose cabinet protects remote automated external defibrillator units against vandalism, as well as dirt, dust and grime. The wall-mounted cabinet includes a wire shelf, an alarm, strobe and thumb lock. The polycarbonate unit has an additional eyelet for a secondary safety seal. If the cabinet is opened, the red electronic alarm emits a siren and the LED flashes. The alarm and strobe have independent timing choices of 15, 30, 60 seconds or continuous, and the alarm can be powered by a 9 VDC battery or external 12-30 volts.
