The Elephant-Vac Model EV-2 litter vacuum picks up litter with its 12-foot-long hose as the operator drives along. It can be mounted to an existing tractor with the Model 3PT adapter and can be connected or disconnected in minutes to free up the tractor for other jobs. Use of a four-wheel-drive tractor permits access to rugged terrain. The EV-2 is powered by a 13-horsepower, OHV, V-twin, electric-start Kawasaki engine. The vacuum hose is mounted on a balanced spring boom for easy side-to-side and up-and-down movement; anything that fits into the 8-inch-diameter hose is drawn directly into an ordinary throwaway plastic bag.
