Rolls of standard Enkamat Turf Reinforcement Mats (TRMs) are now eight feet wide to allow for easier handling. The mats have no welds or seams, promoting more rapid installation with fewer overlaps. They have improved UV resistance that ensures increased durability in hot, dry conditions or where grass growth extends over multiple seasons. The mats feature three-dimensional construction: polyamide (nylon) filaments are thermally fused at their intersections to create a homogeneous, net-free matrix. Ninety-five percent of the matrix is open space, which reinforces plant root systems. As the roots grow, they become entwined within the permanent matrix, creating a stable cover.
