Trimmer and brush cutter

The 1.4-horsepower two-cycle engines inside the T282 trimmer and C282 brush cutter have been updated to meet more stringent environmental standards without compromising power and performance: a new four-shoe metal clutch allows for more contact area and power transfer, and a chrome-plated cylinder ensures durability, according to the manufacturer. Both machines' gears are protected by a case designed to withstand high torque at the cutting attachment, and an 8-millimeter hollow mainshaft reduces their weight for portability.
