Six new models of Honda's V-Twin engine, redesigned for greater fuel economy and versatility, are available in both horizontal- and vertical-shaft configurations. A twin-barrel inner-vent carburetor with a higher compression ratio (9.3:1 versus the older V-Twin's 8.3:1) helps the engine better utilize fuel. The more-compact GX630, 660 and 690 (pictured) and GXV630, 660 and 690 cover a range of commercial, rental and turf applications, including powering landscape and construction equipment.
