Model 4500XL Beachcleaner combines a hydraulic drive and specialized screen mount design for sand screening. The machine only has three bearings to ensure low maintenance and dependability. Carbide glide pucks on the steel loading bars offer quiet operation. The hydraulically powered screen on a tractor-towable frame produces an elliptical motion to the fixed, non-rotating sifting screen. The screen oscillation movement is adjustable for all types of beach sand up to 6 inches deep. Screens remove cigarette butts, broken glass, seaweed, bottle caps, sharp shells, stones, and other debris hidden below the surface, while exposing sand to the sun's rays to help reduce the growth of e-coli and other harmful bacteria.
