Using the Wireless Waste Edge Monitor can help reduce waste removal costs by an average of 20 percent and makes the process more efficient and greener. Government facilities and municipalities can install the monitor anywhere there is a waste compactor, and it can be retrofitted on new or existing compactors. The monitor automatically sends a pick-up notification directly to designated dispatchers only when the container has reached a pre-determined fullness level. Pick-ups of partially filled containers are no longer a concern. With the addition of WasteView, a Web-based program, reports can be requested online to show fullness levels, pick-up dates or invoice justification. Reports can be sorted by compactor, account, region and more.
