The prefabricated, relocatable Municipal Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Unit handles low-volume hazardous waste from households, contractors and small-quantity generators. Hazardous waste materials ranging from paints and pesticides to cleaners and motor oils can be identified, packed into drums and safely stored on site until a sufficient quantity is amassed for transport to an authorized disposal site. A removable grating, air intake vents, hazard labeling and a security locking system come standard with each unit. Interior lighting, heat or air conditioning, forced-air ventilation and a dry-chemical fire-suppression system are optional.
