Blue Bird replaces gasoline with propane as the fuel source for its Vision school bus, creating a vehicle powered on clean-burning, readily available energy. The bus’s GM 8.1-liter engine uses liquid propane injection for a fuel range of approximately 300 miles. The Vision school bus is comparable in construction and capacity to traditional school buses; anti-lock brakes are standard and most vision accessories are available. The bus can hold 47 to 77 passengers.
