Fluorescent luminaires

Max-E high-performance recessed direct/indirect fluorescent luminaires are designed to maximize efficiency and light output, while maintaining low-glare aesthetic appeal. The luminaires provide light levels equivalent to those of a standard three-lamp T8 center-basket-style recessed luminaire, using only two lamps. By incorporating a specialized reflector with a high-reflectance painted finish and custom-faceted acrylic diffuser, they achieve higher light levels and improved distribution with efficiencies up to 84.2 percent with T8 lamps. Compared with a standard three-lamp T8 recessed direct/indirect luminaire, the Max-E provides 33 percent energy savings, reduced maintenance costs and also can help in exceeding the minimum energy performance requirements of ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2004 to comply with LEED certification.
