Create striking visual effects, indoors or out, with new, color-changing candles that include light emitting diodes (LEDs). Complete with a real, flickering flame for ambience and warmth, the mood-setting candles are made of unscented wax, with an ice finish. Inside the wax, battery-powered LEDs generate a color transition effect. As soon as a person lights the wick, a built-in photo sensor triggers the LEDs in base of candle to perform a luminescent light show. The candle then transitions through various colors of a rainbow. When the candle burns out, the LEDs will no longer illuminate. All candle components are housed in a flameproof plastic chamber. Made by Pro-Lite, Inc., Costa Mesa, CA, the candles can set relaxed moods in offices or serve as eye-catching displays for a variety of applications. Many sizes and shapes are available. The company offers a full line of LED products, ranging from indoor or outdoor signs to programmable name badges that display custom messages.
