GreenRoad, a provider of services to reduce fuel consumption based on driving behavior, has added an idling performance capability to help fleets reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emissions. The customizable system identifies idling activities that are exceptions to a fleet's policy based on client-defined policy thresholds. Real-time idling reports are available anytime and emailed weekly. With the system, fleet managers can refer to at-a-glance exception reports to view the idling performance across their fleets. GreenRoad is compatible with all vehicle years, makes and models, and does not require additional hardware or ECM integration.
