The lifts are designed to service various vehicles from passenger cars to box trucks. The closed-front L444 also offers an 18,000-lb. lifting capacity and adds 39 inches to the maximum wheelbase ranges over the previous model, so it now provides 227 inches (general service), 211 inches (two-wheel alignment), and 158 inches (four-wheel alignment). The optional features available on the L441 and L444 include a PowerSlide system, which allows the technician to lock and unlock turnplates and slipplates with the flip of a switch, and 9,000-lb.-capacity swing air jacks. The lifts are certified to the ANSI/ALI ALCTV-2006 Safety Standard sponsored by the Automotive Lift Institute.
