The FilterFlat is a hands-free oil filter crusher, with an optional automatic timer. The unit reduces 9-inch filters to less than 2 inches in 45 seconds, according to manufacturer. Operator inserts filter to be crushed, sets the timer and can leave crusher unattended. Unit operates on shop air; a drain hose directs removed oil to a separate waste container. Waste oil can be reclaimed for recycling. The crusher, which is made with heavy-gauge steel, has an 18-month warranty and comes fully assembled.
