The company is offering a new line of electronic fuel injection (EFI) engines. The line includes two models, the EH72 V-Twin and EH72 UTV, both of which are designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The EFI engines run on an open-loop system, which uses an electronic control unit (ECU) that detects manifold pressure, ambient temperature and throttle position, and relays information to the injector, which delivers the proper air-to-fuel ratio. ECU sensors offer precise oxygen level detection. Both models are available in a 653 cc or 720 cc configuration, with power outputs ranging from 20- to 27-horsepower. The engines feature a two-barrel manifold with a fuel injector for each cylinder. For applications that require a smaller, more compact engine, the EH72 UTV is available in a low-profile design for both the 653 cc and 720 cc configurations. The engines also are available in non-EFI carbureted versions.
