Several features working together on the adjustable lifter enable cranes to handle a wider range of loads: The lifting bail adjusts to the correct center of gravity, the throat opening changes to accommodate different load heights and the fork spread's width can be varied. An auto-return bail hangs level when the lifter is empty to save time and effort for readying the lifter for the next use.
