The Sunspot 5000 is a self-contained 12-Volt DC air conditioner suited for in-cab and under-bunk retrofits in Class 8 trucks. It delivers 5,000 BTU per hour of cooling capacity, draws 50 amps at 12-volt operation and weighs 67 pounds installed. The air conditioner also is suited for anti-idling applications, marine and other rugged environments, mobile offices, electric utilities and substations, radio and telecommunication base stations, solar and alternative power systems and stations, construction sites and military equipment applications.
