A Split Retention Ramp option is available on the company's Models 85 and 89 Steel Platform Model Rail Gate. The ramp option provides five inches of additional platform loading depth and keeps cargo secure. The lightweight aluminum design makes the ramp easy to operate, and the drop-lock design makes for easy storage, retention and ramp positioning. The retention ramps are split for multiple-cart loading, and they drop below the plane of the platform to ensure that the taper reaches the ground. The ramps fold flush against the platform in the stored position, providing a quieter ride. The Model 85 is suited for wide-bodies, while the Model 89 works well with cube vans, stake bodies and flatbeds.
