Centrifugal pump Models RD-12 and RD-12Z provide an external flow adjustment feature via a 1-5-volt DC third-wire input, making overall systems more energy-efficient. The pumps are available in hose barb and threaded connections. The RD Series design is similar to a canned motor that operates via a 24-volt brushless DC motor with service life in excess of 25,000 hours. Classified as safety voltage (50 volts or under), RD pumps allow users to comply with international standards such as CSA, UL, CE and GS. Compact RD pumps have been designed to be cool, quiet and lightweight. The pumps boast sound levels as low as 40 dB.
