Lyon Workspace Products has made a design change to its 8000 Series shelving backs, designing horizontal back panels to serve in place of the original vertical back panels. The horizontal backs provide easier handling and installation for the user. The overall load capacities continue to be the same: 600-1,300 pounds, using 22- to 18-gauge steel. The shelving series, along with a system of mezzanines and bulk storage racking, is currently in use in the new Dallas Stadium, which implemented a solution (picture) that nearly doubled the stadium's storage space.
