STI's Wireless Driveway Monitors (solar or battery) detect when a vehicle enters or leaves a protected driveway. Movement of any large metallic object close to the sensor will transmit a signal from the transmitter to the indoor receiver, causing the receiver to chime and flash. The sensor may be placed 1,000 feet (line of sight) away from the receiver.
