More than 50 Green Line hydraulic barricade, bollard and crash-gate designs are available that operate either manually or hydraulically/pneumatically with FDA-approved vegetable oils. The hydraulic systems use a low-duty cycle design to reduce each unit's motor size. Barriers remain in the upright position to prevent unauthorized facility entry from terrorists or errant drivers. To let authorized vehicles through, the barriers are lowered and then raised once again when the vehicle has passed.
