Pushbutton for public environments

The Series 56 pushbutton is suitable for a wide range of environments, including security and access, pedestrian crossing controls and public information and emergency call points. The pushbutton features a snap-action switching system that protects itself from damage. The system guarantees that a stable force is always applied to the switch unit independent of the one exerted on the lens; even if the pushbutton is struck harshly, the switching unit is protected. A 34-millimeter-diameter lens is wide enough to be activated by one's palm; the extra surface area allows more space for defining function, reducing the chance of accidental operation.
