Prefabricated storage buildings provide additional space for chemistry labs in government departments, colleges and universities without the cost of permanent construction. The Factory Mutual-approved and labeled buildings are available in four-hour fire-rated units, which can be placed next to an existing structure. Each building includes oversized, leak-tight, built-in containment sumps to capture hazardous spills or leaks. They also feature UL-classified three-hour fire-rated doors with self-closer systems, a security lock and interior safety release system. Integral air vents with three-hour fire dampers eliminate the accumulation of flammable or explosive vapors. The buildings are customizable, and a selection of interior and exterior lighting, heating and other options are available.
