The Traceable thermometer displays current, minimum and maximum temperatures, as well as the exact time and date when the minimum and maximum temperatures occurred. The unit is suited for monitoring solutions, refrigerators and room temperature in pollution control, HVAC and other government applications. It has a special bottle probe specifically for refrigerator and freezer applications. The thermometer has a range of -40 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit and -40 to 80 degrees Celsius with a resolution of 0.5 degrees and accuracy of ±1.5 degrees Celsius. The display features ⅜-inch-high digits. The probe is placed with a wire-mounting bracket. The sensor and 6-foot cable perform accurately even underwater, according to the manufacturer. Features include a flip-open stand for the bench, a slot for wall mounting, Velcro to attach and a Traceable certificate indicating traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. A AAA alkaline battery for continuous 1-year monitoring is provided, along with an ABS plastic case measuring 39/16 by 39/16 by 15/16 inches and weighing 3.5 ounces.
