Powerblanket's pipe wraps provide heat for freeze protection as well as rapid thawing for pipelines. The lightweight wraps can be used to heat manifolds, pumps, hoses and other temperature-sensitive equipment in water treatment plants, drilling operations and other applications. Sizes range from 2.5 centimeters to 2 meters (1 to 78 inches) in diameter to accommodate a variety of pipe sizes. Regular 120-volt electricity powers the wraps. They are safe to use on metal or plastic pipes and hoses. The wraps are also wind and water resistant, allowing flow within piping to continue even in extreme temperatures.
