Model MMP-TM55-24VGP52-236 is a new DC gear motor accepting any 24-volt DC source, including battery power. Rotating signs, battery-powered utility vehicles and accessibility equipment are a few applications where the motor can be used. It measures 2.14 inches in diameter by 7.7 inches long, with a keyed output shaft of 12 millimeters in diameter by 25 millimeters long. The output of the reversible gear motor is rated for 238 inch pounds continuous torque at 20 rotations per minute, and 443 inch pounds peak. The motor weighs 3.5 pounds and requires 3.6 amps to generate its full load torque. Motor windings for 12, 36, 48, 60 and 90 volts are available. The motor is rated at an IP 54 protection level for operation in harsh environments.
