The APM dispensing system produces a full range of interior and exterior paints and primers in seven grades and six sheen levels; its accompanying Enterprise System software enables the company to replicate any color and save dispense information. The system works by pumping five liquid components through pipes to a computer-calibrated scale with 1/100-pound tolerance accuracy; after being temporarily stored, the components await use in permanent tanks that can be placed as far as 200 feet away from the dispenser. All APM-manufactured paints and primers are certified below 50 grams per liter to meet air-quality standards set by the Master Painters Institute.
