Nonflammable Spill King universal
absorbent picks up and holds vegetable-, mineral- or
petroleum-based spills as well as semi-liquids. Won’t harm
surfaces such as cement, asphalt, tile or carpet. Also prevents
leaching to safeguard the environment. Meets or exceeds all OSHA
and EPA requirement for health and safety. Contains no crystalline
silica (commonly found in “kitty litter”) that
qualifies as a carcinogen. Also has no ingredients linked to
causing “silicosis,” a lung disease. Less than 1 lb. of
absorbent can absorb 1 qt. of motor oil, while leaving little or no
residue. In contrast, clay, earth and sand products are said to
require 15 lbs. of material to absorb the same amount of liquid,
while leaving a slippery residue that can cause safety hazards.
Comes in 1.5-cu.-ft. bags that weigh from 10 to 13 lbs. for
lightweight handling. Atlantic Smart Technogies, Spill
