A broad selection of organic and inorganic antimicrobials are compounded into thermoplastics that inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, fungus and bacteria. They are offered as fully compounded products or in master batches that are designed to protect plastics against various microorganisms. The antimicrobial compounds are ideal for use in catheters, wound dressings and high-contact surfaces, such as doorknobs and countertops.
