Storemore salt-storage buildings use proven designs and materials that resist salt corrosion and loader damage. The buildings are said to resolve problems with space constraints, poor soil conditions, environmental contamination or uneven sites. Trained design staff analyze users' storage requirements and site conditions and carefully blend the building's design with existing structures and the surrounding community. Concrete base walls are 12 inches thick and up to 12 feet tall. Using epoxy-coated rebar and special sealers, the walls never buckle, according to the manufacturer.
