Vangent, an Arlington, Va.-based provider of information management and strategic business-process outsourcing services, has appointed Jim Reagan as senior vice president and chief financial officer. In his new post, Reagan will be responsible for leading the company's finance, contracting, pricing and SOX-compliance activities.

Prior to joining Vangent, Reagan served as executive vice president and CFO of Deltek. He also has served in executive positions at Aspect Communications and American Management Systems.

Reagan holds an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore and received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary. In addition, Reagan is a certified public accountant.
